Why Coaching?
Coaching is a great tool for self discovery and can be helpful at any point in your career or life. Many clients come to coaching during challenging times or when experiencing the following:
wanting or undergoing a career change
wanting to advance in their current position
feeling stuck or disconnected from oneself, lacking clarity
struggling with work and life balance
feeling overwhelmed and unable to “keep up”
lacking confidence
experiencing or recovering from burnout
My practice of coaching is based on three pillars: Discover, Empower, Transform.
Discover
“I gather new insights.”
Coaching encourages a shift in perspective, allowing you to "zoom out" and see the bigger picture, so you can get some fresh insights and ideas on how to tackle challenges and move forward.
It also helps you build self-awareness, by exploring your needs, drivers, and the limiting beliefs or assumptions that may be holding you back.
Empower
“I gain confidence."
Amid the constant noise around us with people and society telling us what to do or what to think, it is easy to lose sight of our genuine needs, values, goals and aspirations.
Coaching provides a space to reflect and reconnect with who you are and what you truly want in your career and life, enabling you to build confidence in yourself and in expressing your uniqueness to the world.
Transform
“I take action.”
Coaching is about creating tangible changes in your life. Together we look at the strategies and actions you can put in place as well as the internal and external resources you can unlock to achieve your objectives.
You can move forward in life with greater alignment and confidence, in a way that feels authentic and right for you.
Make your career future-proof.
Coaching can help you develop skills that will help you boost the two critical qualities every leader will need to succeed in tomorrow’s world:
critical thinking and creativity.
With the rapid rise of AI-powered technology and automation, remaining relevant in the job’s market is going to require constant agility and adaptation. In order to become “future-proof”, tomorrow’s leaders will need to grow skills in areas where machines will struggle: interpreting facts, spotting patterns, weighing decisions, building relationships, analysing problems, connecting new ideas, etc.
By encouraging deep thinking and self-awareness, coaching provides a perfect environment to facilitate the development of these skills.

While the different approach can be complementary, coaching, therapy and mentoring are distinct.
Therapy often focuses on healing past traumas, whereas coaching is centered on the present and future, helping you identify your goals and the resources available to move forward with your challenges. Coaching also differs from mentoring; my role isn't to tell you what to do or give advice, but to support you in making the changes you desire and guiding you toward the direction you want to take. -
Clients often describe me as supportive, structured, challenging and practical. I adapt my approach to each client, depending on their needs and goals during each coaching session. I am genuinely passionate about what I do and fully committed to the success of my clients.

Don’t worry if you don’t think you fit in one type of coaching (career, leadership, etc.) as each coaching programme is different and will be designed around your specific needs.
Also, I encourage you to approach our work with curiosity, honesty and an open mind.
It's also essential to recognise that you are the only one capable of knowing what is best for you and to be responsible for making changes in your life. While coaching sessions can be very enlightening, most of the work happens outside of our sessions, by taking action in your day to day life.
